BST-50S Continuous Biochar Machine for a rubberwood & acacia project in Thailand

Customer Background
The client is a Taiwanese photovoltaic energy company with a new plant in Thailand. Extending its green footprint from solar into carbon-sink assets, it plans to convert local rubberwood and acacia wood into high-quality biochar that meets carbon credit platform requirements and earns carbon sink certification.

Challenges Faced by Client

Uncertain Biochar Quality from Local Feedstock
The client was unsure whether biochar from local rubberwood and acacia would be consistent enough to be certified.
Carbon Credit Certification Requirements
The biochar must meet strict standards to qualify for recognized carbon credit certification.
Large Daily Processing Demand
A target of 60 tons of wood per day calls for continuous, stable large-volume processing.
Beston Customized Sustainable Biochar Solution
Beston delivered a carbon-sink biochar solution built on the core strengths of the BST-50S, directly addressing the client’s concerns over quality, certification, and capacity.

Certified Biochar Quality:
As the strategic partner of the world’s largest carbon credit supplier and a technical partner of Puro.earth, Beston ensures biochar that meets EBC certification requirements—ready for carbon credit platforms.
High Processing Capacity:
The dual-cylinder rotary-core kiln with graded carbonization processes over 10 m³/hour—6,000 tons of biochar and 12,000 tons of carbon fixation a year—easily covering the 60 tons/day target.
Continuous & Stable Operation:
A tar-and-dust self-cleaning system prevents pipeline clogging, keeping the machine running safely for up to 7,200 hours a year.

Project Delivered & Ready for Production

The BST-50S and its drying system have been successfully installed and commissioned in Thailand. The client is now ready to turn local rubberwood and acacia wood into certified, carbon-sink-grade biochar—laying the foundation for carbon credit certification and a new green revenue stream.
